"The Aerosoft ATR offers a reasonable product for the money, provided you don’t put champagne expectations on a beer budget. The 3D modelling and texturing are beyond incredible while the ‘lite’ systems modelling are exactly what they advertise. With some further expansion of modelled systems I feel the ATR could become the ‘poster child’ for how great X-Plane add-ons could be. At a glance: Aerosoft’s ATR 72-500 comes with an unusually highly detailed external model, mid-level systems modelling and an excellent flight model, but with room for improvement in the cockpit area.
