The Features:
As far as where my time went, here is what you are getting in this 2019 version:
- All Ramp start locations have been cleaned to make them compatible with WT3
- All Taxi Routes also were checked and edited to make sure they provide WT3 compatibility. You can go ahead and generate the WT3 traffic. Here if anyone would like to customize further to reflect real-life, please do so and share back here in this thread.
- Custom SAM jetways. I did customize a SAM-animated jetway, with the HSBC logo
- SAM DGS (Docking Guidance System) for each Ramp Start location, except the GA ramp.
- Corrected mesh: This is one of the key features of this new release. I saw that many of you have been complaining about floating objects, using or not using OrthoPhoto. I actually did work on the mesh for both configurations. The supplied Ortho, uses a patched mesh and I have also included a corrected mesh directory, in case you use the scenery with no Area OrthoPhoto. Just leave the new corrected mesh folder there at all times (making sure it remains very low priority).
- Local Ortho: I have added a local Ortho for the area immediately surrounding the airport, for those of you with more modest rigs who want to stay away from the Area Ortho (you can use both simultaneously).
- Ground Traffic: Just added routes and vehicles for X-Plane 11 (wont work with X-Plane 10, but will cause no harm at the same time)
- All Lighting: The conversion yielded the taxi green and taxiway edge blue light (I get no credit), but Ive added all the ramp white lighting (using new light poles that are visibles in the video and pics below)
- Ground Textures: The conversion yielded textures that were okay, in total fairness, but I just wanted to use XP11 native and modern HD textures. So now you get even nicer-looking ones.
